Repunched date on an 1888 Indian Head Penny question.

I recently had an 1888 Indian Head penny graded by ANACS. It came back a MS-64 RB. It has a strong repunched date which is also annotated on the holder. I have been searching for information on this variety and can't find anything. Is this a common variety? Any chance it has a Snow number? Any information would be appreciated. I do not have the ability to take close up pictures of the date, sorry. It looks like doubled eights to the south of the final two eights, with maybe some visible on the first eight more in the form of thickness to the digit than a doubled eight. Thank you for your help.

I'm told that Rick Snow posts to this board on occasion...you can visit his website at :

He quite literally wrote the book on Indian Head Cents.
