Called up by the Mets. He has a lot of hype - anyone here have stats. on him?

    Kid should've gone #1 overall in '03, but I believe there were character concerns.

    So far this year with Norfolk

    50 Games 182 At Bats 32 Runs 53 Hits 16 Doubles 2 Triples 4 homeruns 19 RBIS 42 Ks 8 SB 6 CS .425 OBP .467 SLG .291 AVG

    He's supposed to be the next great one for the Mets...
    Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

    From what I recall, I believe the 'personal issues' was a rape allegation which went unsubstantiated. Mets fans should be excited about this kid and hopefully the Mets did something right by keeping him...unlike the great Scott Kazmir for 'NoVictory' Zambrano
