    It's only $38 under Mint issue so I wouldn't panic about it.

    Maybe they were able to take 5 in as a trade for something else and can still turn a profit.

    Bid with confidence and blame JrGMan if there is a problem later.

    The USMint? Ha! That's like paying retail (that IS paying retail) - most third party sellers are a lot less than the US Mint.

  • That seller is a BIG seller of NGC Platinum Proofs. It is my belief that they buy and submit coins
    direct to NGC. I'd say that probably those particular $100 Platinums didn't "cut the grade" so he's
    selling them raw.
