Interesting Greyside E-Bay Purchase

1891 LDLL in ICCS MS-63RB. A nice coin with a bonus. This coin has a die defect that causes a "C with handle" effect on the C in the word Cent. Zoell identified this variety in the 1960's. No real premium on value over a regular LDLL, but for the variety geeks this is the nicest one I have seen. Seller's picture shown below.

    LDLL - Large Date, Large Leaves (one of three reverse varieties for 1891 cents)

    ICCS - International Coin Certification Service located in Toronto. ICCS is the most respected Canadian grading service, but their holders are made of PVC (actually a mylar inner sleeve sealed into a PVC outer sleeve)
