What do people think of the rainbow colors on this jefferson proof?

Auction linky...

Not in hand yet, but I think it will be attractive. I have this serious attraction to toned proof jeffersons!

I saw that one too and like it, a lot.
This one, from the same seller as yours closed at about the same time and I decided to go for it instead.

Let's both keep our fingers crossed they're both NT upon their arrival!

I questioned the toning on the Kennedy but when I checked the seller's other auctions and noted this Jefferson along with a Lincoln cent that had original and nice color I then knew it was worth the shot.

I usually do that. If I question a coin I'll research what the the seller has listed and what he's recently sold. It's a 'tell' as to the validity of his offerings.

I wonder why they would have not sent those in for certification?

it looks ok i guess. i have no idea if it is NT or AT.
if that "look" floats your boat that is what is important.
but i would never consider buying it for more than a few
    dollars.

I like it a lot; rainbow tone like that generally demands a premium.

The toning in the pic looks a little muddy, and although concentric rings around the periphery might be possible (suggesting album toning), it's more common to see them with the toning they develop inside the proof sets, which looks more like a soap bubble and affects the whole coin. Good luck, and put up a pic or two when you get the coin.

I saw that and questioned it too Pat.....I also checked out the rest like you and thought they looked NT but I wasn't comfortable enough with the Kennedy to spend more than like $20 bucks on it. I wish you well and I certainly think it might have a shot at holdering.....I just didn't want to take the gamble this time.

As for the Nickel Myqqy.....very attractive and I think you will make out very well in this deal.

I've bought several gorgeous toned proof jeffersons in holders, and ended up paying less for them than the actual grading fees. I get the feeling that certification is not always prudent if you're not going to get ultra grades...
