Memorial day makes me think about freedom, to some extent coins, but mostly the many broken hearted people on earth whose loved ones paid the ultimate price in War. Yesterday, I spent the day reading “Uncle Tom’s Cabin” which I haven’t read in years. What a fantastic work this book is.
Today, I arose early to read another that I haven’t read in years: Co. Aytch by Sam R. Watkins. Anyone know it? “…and the currency of the country was gold and silver” (p 8). matteproof
