master set?

a little lost here. in regards to the 1952 topps set, if i choose to make a master set, i am aware of the page/sain variations and the red/black backs (1-80) etc, but there are 2 different types of the mantle rookie cards. are both types needed for the master set or just one?

the answer i am looking for is ... either variation is fine. so what is the answer?

The stiching variation that exists for the Mantle card also exists for the Robinson and Thompson cards
    Topps Baseball-1948, 1951 to 2017
    Bowman Baseball -1948-1955
    Fleer Baseball-1923, 1959-2007

  • The Campos Variation will probally be added soon, I would think. And probbaly someday third series graybacks.

Psa doesn't verify the Mantle, Robinson, Thompson, or third series grayback variations. But up until a couple of years ago they verify Redback/blackbacks either. So I'm sure it's only a matter of time.
