Vacation Coin Finds...

Ever go on a "family vacation" only to have it unexpectedly (or expectedly) turn into a Coin Junket? Maybe you ran into an old time coin collection at a flea market, or an unusual piece of Numismania in an antique show.
Please tell us your story. I'm sure that I'm not the only one who always seems to have coins on my mind, even in the most unlikely of places and circumstances.
Here's my story...
For a recent "family vacation" to New York City, I promised the family "no visits to coin shops" or other numismatic activities. Bummer, but since most vacations usually end up turning (at least partially) into Numismatic Junkets, I give in and promise the family at least one "coin free vacation" each year.
Of course, sometimes the Coin Gods intervene, and such was the case when I spotted this interesting Booker T. Washington Commemorative Half Dollar Movie Promotional Placard for salenin an uptown store window. The placard indicates that "funds realized from your purchase of 1950 San Francisco Minted Booker T. Washington Memorial Half Dollars will be used to produce a Class 'A' Motion Picture based on his life of unselfish service to his fellow Americans."
Does anyone know if the movie was ever made?
I also ran across a number of fake Trade, Ike and Silver Eagle Dollars available from the street vendors in New York City's Chinatown.
Don't forget to tell us *your* Numismatic Vacation story...
