nice artwork...i gotta wonder if anyone is keeping pictures and names to write a book on these carvings in the future to acquire status as well as how many collectors follow and future price growth in this followings too...but nice clean work on that one

the secretary of the "original hobo nickel society " records every coin i carve with a picture and details of carving.. modern day hobo nickels are selling for $5 to $4,000..
i carve morgan dollars into pattern dollars, most of them are purchased by the members of this forum, they are deeply engraved with my z trademark and the reverse is left original and the lettering on the morgan is left intact on obverse to keep them from being confused as to real pattern dollars.....i,ve carve pennies, nickels, quarters, halves, silver dollars, gold coins etc.

Any chance we could get one of these pattern dollars slabbed by PCGS as a Z-Pattern? That would fit nicely into my collection. For that matter since the Hobo Nickels are documented PCGS should start slabbing these also so we can start a registry.

I know from experience that a BZ hobo is a sought after hobo. I dont have any of Bill's yet but one day I will. I do have others that I have paid $200-$300 for though by another modern carver. Currently there are only about 3 carvers of hobo's that carve high end(Superior rating) items, yes they have their own grading system, and BZ is probably the best.
