Which would you choose?

Okay! If you were looking to buy a 1oz $50 PROOF GOLD EAGLE as a future investment and your choices were
a PCGS PR69 DCAM and an NGC PR70 Ultra Cam....which would you buy?

If they're the same price I would go with the NGC 70; however, I don't consider modern proof gold to be a good investment.

well. since i have become a lot smarter, i think.

i would want both coins on a table in front of me with good
lighting. i would examine them both using whatever strength
of magnification you need.

i would then pick the better one in my opinion.

are you buying plastic or a coin?

Well, I always buy the coin when I can actually see them in person and not the plastic. But as you all know that's not always
possible. e.g., Teletrade, Heritage, Ebay, etc.... So I'd be taking a chance as much as anyone else.

Also, I realize a lot of collectors go into convulsions at the thought of owning modern bullion.
And to some degree I understand why after reading the threads here from the knowledgeable
collectors for quite some time. Thanks for your posts!

then it that case, since i do understand your problem, i would
go with the PCGS slabbed coin. i prefer them over NGC "in general"
for being a bit tighter "overall".
