Do many of you go out for pizza and stuff on Friday nites? It's been a tradition in my family since the beginning of time!
My wife found a new pizza place near our house - pizza is good and the meatball sub was off the chart!
The guy doesn't have a liquor license yet so the beer is free!!!
Now onto ebay - I have made one purchase since the end of October! And the only reason I did was because a good friend paypal'ed me some money and I picked up a nice 63F card.
I'm at the mountain top. Learning to cool my jets has been a tuff arduous journey!
Anyone else working on their spending right now?

OK, Mike, you've suffered enough, so now I'm going to let you in on exactly how you can go about perusing Ebay without accruing a mountain of debt.
1) Begin making all your credit card payments exactly 35 days after the due date.
2) Do this for about seven years straight.
3) Pay off all yoru credit cards in one big payment
4) Now try and apply for a Mastercard.
What you'll find-- and you can trust me on this-- is that you'll be eligible for cards that have a credit limit in the $300 range. And how much trouble can you get into for $300?
A side benefit of completely ruining your credit score is that from this point forward you can call the bluff of anyone who calls you looking for collect for back taxes. When they tell you that further delinquency 'may result in a reduced credit score' you can laugh fiendishly and tell them you'll personally cut them a check for $100 if they can get you score any lower!
I almost went that far but not quite. Credit is still good and have paid off about 98% of what I owed which was close to a strating lawyer's salary.
Mike-
I have cut my eBay purchases down to less than $100/mo. I went cold turkey for a while but unlike you, I sell some stuff so I think that entitles me to buy here and there. I also have started using a sniping program and I solely use this when I bid. Every 2 days I go thru it and cut out the stuff I don't remember why I wanted it in the first place. I also have focused on what I have. I have organized to some degree and realized the stuff I spent the most time organizing is the stuff that means most to me.
I am guilty still of the occasional box break. I don't think I can ever quit this. I enjoy it too much. But I realized I get almost as much pleasure out of busting a case of 86 topps BB than I do a pack of 65 Philly FB. It's a lot harder to be disappointed from a $100 case than a $300 pack.
But I digress. I am glad you're back on the boards and I understand that the time off is needed sometimes. You have been here a lot longer than I have.
I love cards. I always will. I just have to keep figuring out the best way to enjoy them without taking money out of pocket.

I have to say, there's something strangely liberating about having a terrible credit score. It's late right now, and I'm too tired to elaborate, but on the balance I think I kind of enjoy it.
Rule #1: I can go broke saving money on bargains.
Rule #2: I can pass on that item...another one will come along soon enough.
Rule #3: Never forget 1 and 2!
now...if i could only follow my advice....
