Poll: What set has most appreciation potential?

I'm looking for opinions on possible set appreciation. A little 'all over the place', but... The possible sets are being voted upon:

1959 Topps Football
1960 Topps Football
1973 Topps Baseball
1975 Topps Baseball

Edited to add: I forgot to put an 'official' poll in. Please feel free to add your comments...

I've always thought that the 1973 Baseball has room to grow. I know many feel vintage FB is poised to break out, but neither of those sets has any Huge RC's (on par with Schmidt or Brett).

gotta go with the earliest. 59 fb. sharp set thats still super super cheap. It's a 50's topps set for under $1000 for crying out loud!

I agree John...I always thought that the vintage FB sets were undervalued and have great potential if that's what someone is looking for.

    I have a 48B Baugh PSA 8 that I paid 450$ for back around 1993 - I wonder what it's worth today?

I like the FB sets from the 60s also.

I'd be very leery of the 'Fritsch Factor' on all 70's baseball.

smr is $1300 but I imagine that would be a $1500+ card. What a beauty! can you post a scan?

52 topps baseball because the mantle card will rise in value much faster and higher than any card in the hobby. And then the Eddie Matthews card, which is on the rise. The Andy Palko card is also on the rise, Yogi Berra, etc. But particularly the Mantle card, which in my opinion will rise in value 50-70% in the next couple years.

nice card. I don't think I'm so much into the black and white cards though. I've always wanted his leaf rc. It's real sharp. you have any 48/9 leafs to showoff?

    No John.

I agree on the B&W set - actually I didn't plan on buying the card - I bid the minimum for the fun of it and no one wanted it - Greg Manning was very surprised I got it for that price. In fact that was the same auction I picked up a Cochrane 32 US Caramel PSA 8 for 500$ approx. - again there was immense chagrin....that card may be in the 3-4 grand area today?

I also think the card may be a bit overgraded - but hey - who buys the card? I buy the holder. image
    NOT!
