#1. an NGC grade of PF70* or MS70*?; and/or

#2. a coin seller touting a PF70 or an MS70 coin as "high end" or "PQ" for the grade?

    Sadly - yes to both. Most likely not now in the "tight" phase of grading - but when prices drop and the TPG's loosen up again.

    I believe NGC's policy regarding the star designation, is the coin must fall between MS63 and MS69.

    They do not currently give stars to supposedly perfect coins graded 70.

    I think it would be very foolish to start awarding stars to 'perfect' coins.

    Has NGC graded any MS70 that weren't 2005 SMS, modern commems or bullion?
