Anyone notice that he seems to be back?

375 average to date.

Glad for him as he was always a good guy.

Steve
Good for you.

yes, saw a bit on Sportscenter today about him....

He signed our son's cap one time at an Indians game a few years back......probably when our boy was only 2.
  • Great to see Nomar back.
  • Nomar is a very great and friendly player. I would have to say that he is on my top 10 list of players that I would want to meet again. He is just so nice and down to Earth.

I always liked him as a player, and thought he was a good person off the field as well. His last season (half season) in Boston tarnished his reputation with Boston fans a bit, but I am not sure it was all his fault. The media really got all over him, and painted him as a lazy, selfish player - which I could never accept. Of course, he is traded, and the Sox win the WS, which further distanced him from Boston fans.

Still, I am happy I got to see him have all those great years in Boston and hope he stays healthy and on the field for a long time.

I was a little sour on Nomar during his last season with the Sox but am happy that he has rebounded from the injury bug. He looks like his old self in LA producing runs again.

His lifetime batting average is still outstanding despite the set backs with injuries. He seems to be on top of his game again and it is exciting too see. I live in LA, so I will definately want to see him play.
I am glad for him. I want him to stay healthy from here on out. He is good for baseball.

Looks like he is finally healthy. He's never been the same since that bastage pitcher beaned him on the wrists.
