I take it it's commemorating 50 years of German unification (1871-1921)?

The speech on the back is by "Ernst von Willenbruen", or Willenbruge, or something like that, I think it says. Who was that?
Waste no more time arguing what a good man should be. Be one.
    Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius, "Meditations"

Apparently I have been awarded one DPOTD. B)

Interesting prelude to the Nazi era. Arbeit (work) was glorified under Hitler as well even to the extent of the welcoming gates at the Third Reich's first "work" camp outside Munich being brandished with the slogan "Arebit macht frei" (work makes free).
