Looking for info on a coin from the Konungor Islands

I'm retired Navy and somewhere many years ago came across a coin that says Konungor Islands and the reverse says Auraras Island. Can anyone tell me where the coin came from? Any info would be great. The coin is dated 1940 and shows a Crown over the letter "C" with an "X" in the middle of the "C".
I'm interested in U.S. cents

Neither name you list seems to bring up any search results (google). My 2005 Krause does not show any results for either name. If you can provide pictures they will help. I wonder of this is not some privately struck souvenir.

As Konungur it translates as Icelandic for King.

    Thanks Shep!!

You hit the nail on the head. Mine has value of 5 on the reverse side. It's in poor shape and was at one time soldered onto a belt buckle.

I'm always getting people asking me where Auror Island is. I just tell them the S is not a silent S.
