This bustie has the most proof-like fields I have ever seen on a bustie. I am loving this coin. My crappy pics can't begin to show the color or field surfaces even slightly. This one surely needs the mgoodm3 talent
I threw in a few reverse pics because this is the sharpest strike I have ever seen on a bird- again-pardon my pics-best I can muster.
And its an overdate, an 1824 over 2 over 0 (or 1824/various)
I am now totally broke but very happy.
Want to shoot a grade at her? - It is misgraded in an ANACS slab right now.
The slab is also scratched to hell on this one- like over the 1 in the date for example.

You should send that to me, I can grade better when it's in hand.
Love that green irridescent toning!

Sorry to hear that. (wink)

We own the same variety that is fully prooflike. In fact, the reverse is cameo. Point is that this variety is known for prooflikes, but they are still scarce....if not rare when prooflike. The early 20's yielded more prooflike bust halves than any other period, in my experience.

<< <i>Nice addition to your collection. Looks to have nice luster and the feather detail is great. I would "Guess" this is in an ANACS 61-62 holder.

Except for that "emergency" money that I always have put aside for that really really special coin

Dennis - Is yours for sale???
This is a very hard marriage in AU50 or better. Perhaps, it is so popular for the neat look.
She is even trying to show you a double set of smackers
I really like that because it saved me a bundle on the selling price.
This one is a 58 all day long due to some really light rub--- in fact it may be cabinet friction and could slip into an MS holder on a rainy day.
The rub/friction is right on top of the birds eye---- this coin has a clean obverse cheek and a killer PL suface- obverse and reverse.
Thanks guys.
