If I saw this in an eBay auction, I would personally pay $5 for it, because of all the green stuff on it scares me... without the green stuff, I'd pay more.
Hope that helps!
Edited to add: If you were to put it on eBay, it might go for as high as $15-20

Without the green stuff (which can most likely be dipped off), I would probably pay a full retail price of $15.00 to $20.00. If I was trying to cherry eBay, I would max my bid at $5.00 or so.
Wasn't there a thread just yesterday with a Morgan dollar that had this exact same error? I believe in that thread people were touting how extremely rare it is and it's the score of a lifetime and all that jazz. Why would it be any different with this coin?

Because it was made 50 years plus later, umm... it's larger in size, and errrr... it's just simply rarer...
But seriously, the morgan is simply rarer. Ask Fred Weinberg.

OffMetal is correct. The 1964 dime is not nearly as rare or expensive due to size, total mintage, age, etc. Probably some other factors in there, too. I can tell you that if the Morgan dollar was on eBay, I would not bid $5.00 as I would for the dime. HOwever, I would bid around $200.00, and that may be on the cheap side.

Isn't it just a matter of misalignment with the collar?
