What does "Paper plug in one end" mean?

    Looks like a shotgun roll that was searched and put back in the original wrapper.

  • I've seen many original rolls where one or sometimes both ends have a circular flat paper (a little thicker than paper actually, but not as thick as cardboard...... ) "plug" that is the size of the coin in the roll. I'm not sure of the purpose, but I've seen/sold them that way.
