Another good day..with a silver lineing.

Hit the old standby playground/soccer/ball diamond. Got 13 quarters, 9 dimes and 7 cents.(3 Wheaties)
Heres the best of the bunch.

This is the 22nd silver I've pulled from this field in the last 5 years.

    Nice find. It is funny, it seems that no matter how many times you hit a spot, you always feel there is just one more left and there usually is. Patience and skill will always uncover gems missed by others and sometimes yourself.

    Is this spot a bunch of old ball playing fields? How deep was the quarter?

    When I was a kid this was a playground and 4 ball diamonds. In the last few years 2 of the diamonds have been burried with fill and sod and turned into a football field and 2 soccer fields. I mostly hunt the gap between the old fields and the new. The quarter was about 5 inches but I've pulled silver from 8-9 inches and about 2 inches in the playground area where theres a hard clay base.
