Found these two over the past 3 months and thought they were interesting and pretty cool. Can anyone help me on what is going on with them and an idea of what they might be worth?
How about sending them in for grading would it be worth it?
1881 3 Cent Nickel. Bad Planchet or strike through?
1964-D dime Strike Through...
Thanks for the feedback and advice on these two.

The Three Cent Nickel is a laminated planchet error and draws little to no premium. If it were larger, then perhaps a little bit of a premium. Sometimes planchet laminations from that particular era are considered a detriment in terms of value.
Regarding the very cool 1964 dime, my gut feeling is that it is a genuine struck through cloth error and dramatic at that. However, I would want it in my hands for personal inspection before rendering a 100% guarantee that it is genuine. These can be "produced" post minting, but usually they are crude. Your coin looks to be the real deal for a couple of key diagnostic reasons. If genuine, this error would have a nice premium and should be graded by PCGS. I would not submit the three cent nickel error.
