I placed only one single last second bid tonight... doubling the then current bid. Admittingly, I'm going to be one ticked off MoFo if I didn't get it! I've been looking for this one for 15 years and there is is. On Teletrade.

I badly want this coin and the waiting is killing me!
(Ok, breath in... breath out... repeat...)

    Eight minutes to go...

(This is worse than waiting for the two hour ending of LOST to start!)

    Victory!

    Here's the lot won:
    Teletrade Elephant Colonial

It was sitting at $310.00 for the last couple of hours and right at 6:59:50 I punched in $600.00 as my top bid. I know that would be way overpaying for it, but I really, really wanted this one!
I'm pleased it was awarded to me for the next bid above ($320.00) instead!

    This baby's mine!

Thanks guys. You'de think these would be more readily available but finding one in problem free low grade is a chore. I personally find it interesting that they're featured in the Red Book as their Colonial status is dubious, at best, IMHO.

    Neat coin either way though.
