  • If you REALLY think this guy is ripping you off, just mail off another item to his zip code and send it with delivery confirmation. When Paypal contacts you for proof of delivery, you can just use the confirmation # of the 2nd package you sent.

Sorry for bringing this one back, but I was away for a few days.

Problem with this idea is Paypal also requires the item to be mailed within 7 days. If the istem was mailed after that time they will side with the buyer regardless of what the DC says. Remember that to be protected the DC must show the item as DELIVERED as well.

  • greg, you have to give the buyer the benefit of the doubt unfortunately.. i had a similar situation once where a buyer claimed not to receive a card and i was extremely skeptical because of their questionable feedback, but stopped short of calling them a liar and was very glad later.. I practice "benefit of the doubt" customer service, so i ate it and issued a refund.. well, a month later the card was returned to me with no explanation from the post office as to what the problem was.. i guess sometimes, stuff just gets lost... you issuing a refund and moving on was the right call too IMO.... i hope you are lucky enough to get your card back at least..

btw greg - nice find on those jag/panther sets!
