My new NGC signature set!

I've been working on the idea of a "minimalist design type set" for quite a while now. In my sig line below I used a pre-existing registry category to state my theme. The NGC signature sets allows you to create your own set, and so I did. I'd welcome comments and ways to improve it. So fire away!Minimalist Design Type Set

Very interesting for sure!! Great idea. I like the out of the box thinking.
  • At first I thought you were creating a set of coins with designs that were minimalist in nature and I was expecting to see a Franklin. Then, I realized you were creating a set of design types. Hmmmm...v e r y inter esting. It's great what signature sets allow you to do. Finally...creativity in the mundane world of set collection!....
    Good luck with your set.

edited to add: p.s., the prime number thing sounds very 007 to me.....

Get in line. I get solicitation for that, along with the 92-O, 94-P and 04-P, all the time. The set is getting closer to completion; then its off to auction -- ANR or Heritage depending on commission terms and a dedicated catalogue (DMPLs and lots and lots of VAMs).

that is an excellent well thought out set

all the coins are well picked and extremely well balanced coins

the circ coins are what i like to call gem circ coins as they all are perfect circ coins with great eye appeal and no problems

i looked at every coin in your set from your link and it is one hell of a cool well put together set with a collecyor that has a great EYEimageimage
  • not that I'll persue it, I just read in The Numismatist that 1936 was the biggest year of Commemorative coins. 15 coins total. A nice micro-registry candidate! Commemoratives of 1936. Simple title?!
