WOW what a Cluster F--k

I sent a paypal payment of 980 last night then realized today i was off by a typo and the wrong guy got paid. Well when i found out i tried sending a refund request through paypal and sent him another 980 Does that suck or what?? Paypal said i cant do a thing and have to hope he refunds me Wow hope your haveing a better day than me

    WOW is right, I've paid someone twice before but they quikly refunded me, hope your payment went to an honest person image

    file a complaint quick if he hasn't acknowledged the money or refunded you before he can withdraw it from his account

    As a buyer I like to pay for the auctions I win as quick as possible. However, I make a point to not pay for auctions that I've won if I have been drinking until the next morning (to prevent a slip up from occuring)

    The guy that recieved the payments might be worried that this is a scam.

    If I recieved payments of this amount and in this fashion, I wouldn't just send the money back.

    I would check on every detail and make sure the sender was legit.

    Does your Paypal account pull from your Bank Account or a credit Card ? You should be able to call either and tell them to freeze your account or not to allow this transaction to take place.

    Hopefully he's a standup guy and refunds both amounts-mistakes happen but he's got to know $1960 is for him...

    yep, i thought your screwup had something to do with drinking. Believe me when I said that I have been there and have learned from my mistake to wait until I sober up before paying.

    Just a thought, but maybe you should shoot her a small "reward" for being so honest. She didn't keep your $1700, so to keep the good karma going, one good deed deserves another. Just a thought! image
