787 items purchased in the last month. It's one thing to have the money. How in the world does this guy keep track of what he has paid for, what has been received, etc. He must spend all of his waking moments opening his mail. Not to mention he's purchased a bunch of 1970's baseball sets. Who's looking through these sets to ensure that the condition is accurate, all the cards are there, and so on?

    Unbelievable.

    gotta love the username.
  • Either someone's got more $$$ than brains....or someone's got a boatload of stolen credit cards...

My guess would be the latter...buy it all up..get the merchandize....and *poof* gone before the credit card invoices come out...

Let's see if they are still buying in 3-4 weeks...hmmmm!!??!!

    virtual insanity.

this person should invest in some ebay stock, they are a primary reason the company continually reports increased net income and revenues from quarter to quarter, my god.

My guess is that the real key to Ebay's success is not the crazy bidders, but the morons who who pay insertion fees for $.99 cent cards with 3$ shipping charges, and then REINSERT the cards when they don't sell.

It's all profit... My favorite quote from Goodfellas, Especially run up bills on the joint's credit. And why not? Nobody's gonna pay for it anyway. And as soon as the deliveries are made in the front door, you move the stuff out the back and sell it at a discount. You take a two hundred dollar case of booze and you sell it for a hundred. It doesn't matter. It's all profit. And then finally, when there's nothing left, when you can't borrow another buck from the bank or buy another case of booze, you bust the joint out. You light a match.

And hell yeah if I won the lotto, this would be my bidding pattern too.

Ditto. Between his two ID's, he spent close to $4,000 a few weeks ago on my auctions. I love it when these guys appear. Reminds me of Qualityhorseracing from a few years back, who would keep the price of 1968 PSA 10's up / over $600-$700 a piece.

  • Let's hope for all the sellers' sakes that this is someone who just got his trust fund and has no control. Otherwise, there could be a serious problem...
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

Forget blocking him; find out where he lives and go punch him in the nuts. --WalterSobchak 9/12/12

image Hey larry, maybe he is single so he doesn't have that problem. So if this guy is paying people on this board, who is this this mystery man/woman( to be politicly correct) with all of the money? Is it Trump? Nah, can't be him... he just got his arss handed to him in that lawsuit that is going cost close to $50,000,000.Hmmmm
