Not the usual post about grading, slabbing or silver prices.

This is a parody bill produced in 1938 by opponents of a California ballot initiative called "Ham 'N' Eggs".

"Ham 'N' Eggs" was a old-age pension scheme similar to the "Townsend Plan" or "$50 every Thursday" schemes.

This "bill" was printed by opponents of the scheme.

It is 5-3/4" x 2-1/4" (14.5cm x 6cm).

My father had two such bills, this one with the tear and another whole bill with duller colors.
He must have carried them around as both are worn.

Anyone else have one?
