Vam upgrade for my set...

I cant see why this coin is so difficult to find in 65/6... you'd think there'd be no problem finding one... An Ex NGC by-product..image with only 2 known for this grade, the other still in a NGC holder...

  • You upgrade to MS65 and get .01 upgrade to your registry score? That's gotta hurt somewhere besides the wallet!

P.S. I know why it had such a miniscule effect. Chin Bar is weighted as 1.0 in the set, one of the most common VAMs. Now if you upgraded one of the VAMs weighted 7.0, you'd see a big difference.

The "Chin Bar" refers to a die gouge on the coin that runs from the bottom of Liberty's chin southward through the right side of D of GOD and continuing southward through the 1 of 1923. It is hard to see in the image if you are not familiar with the variety, but if you take another look now at that location, you should be able to see it.
