Will eBay go out of business?

Will gold hit $1000/oz?

Will silver hit $50 /oz?

The answer is of course, yes.

But whether it's next week or do we have to wait until the year 2060, ah.... that's another question ;-)

    I beg to differ. . .

When I'm visiting this forum, I'm part of the group of everyone. Your thread title indicates that everyone wants to know the answer to these three questions which means you indicate I want to know the answers to these three questions. . . wrong! image

This forum has beaten that (gold and silver) horse to death and as for eBay, my coin collecting life didn't begin with ebay and I doubt it will end with eBay. I do know I vote with my dollars. Things evolve and I think the auction/dealers will become even bigger presence than they are now. One advertisement I saw in NumNews recently was for an internet auction site only allowed people to sell once they passed the selection & verification process. I'm not sure of the details but that sounds like a step in the right direction.

Personally I think that Ebay has been in business long enough to adjust their business model to stay in business for a very long time! I don't think the recent freezing of certain coin seller accounts lately can be used as a solid basis for determining whether or not Ebay will stay in business. Ebay does, after all, cater to a lot more interests than just coin collectors!

Not hardly. Now if you only collect coins you may think so but for some of the diffcult to obtain collectables this is the only venue........

It's also the venue for hard to ..DUMP... collectibles.

    IMO,

    E-bay will continue on.

Gold possibly will see 1000.00, I doubt will see 50 silver??

Just here locally, I know of 30,000+ ounces of silver being held by a few folks, and they will have long been sold out long before it reaches 50.00. If thats just this local area, then really how much can be out there waiting to be dumped when that key price everyone is waiting for is reached. If it does charge foward, I dont see the demand keeping that level sustained /

The correct answer is, not in our lifetimes.
