Do you see coin features everywhere in life?

Am I the only one who see things about coins all the time? For instance, I just got a box of pasta where the price on the sticker was stamped twice... my first reaction is the label is a doubled die. Please tell me I'm not alone.

On my way to the post office last week (to pick up a coin) I noticed a street sign that read "BRASHER STREET"

I once saw a man hole cover with a die crack.

Did you then pull out your loupe to see if the ink showed it to be die doubling or machine doubling?

My older son had 20 or so friends over for pre-prom this weekend, and we had to dig into the "reserve" silverware drawer to feed them all. I had my younger son get the spoons and as nonchantly as one could be, flips it back into the drawer and tells me "You don't want that one, it's missing its reverse clad layer".

When I got out the silver for a dinner party, and saw it was tarnished, my first thought was "I can't clean this, it would remove the natural toning and damage the surface". Seriously.

Yes.......I always associate numbers that I'm looking at with better date coins, ie., 1-877-XXX-XXXX phone number with the 1877 Indian head cent. I know..........I'm a little weird!

I saw a license plate with 7TF and immediatley thought of 1878 Morgans. Also, the other day I was doing laundry and noticed that the zipper on my jeans was "toned." image

I swear whoever comes up with the order numbers for the carpet styles at one of our distributors is a coin collector. Some of the order numbers:

1822, 1804, 1870, 1901, 1773, 1789, 1865, 1792, 1916, 1921, 1793, 1889, and 1799. There are many other examples that relate to well known dates to specialist in various series, and some that relate to Darkside issues.

This is the wallpaper in my bathroom. I can't help but laugh at what I envision as "Doubling".

Here is another new one Jeremy - After giving the girls a bath, I saw Joni's tag and man what I would give for some NATURAL coins that looked like that. This is just a stainless steel tag from Wal-Mart, probably a year old that started out with NO color at all. I may have to stick a few coins inside her collar as an experiment image

I see coin features and coins in general. For example, I have a "Mercury" reader for a classroom textbook. It has a partial image of theMercury dime across the cover.
