New Hampshire 1955 3 Cent - question from a coin collector

image

Are they readily available? How much might I expect to pay for a high quality uncancelled one?

  • VERY common. Probably any stamp dealer you meet will have one in some condition. Catalog value is probably about 20 cents, maybe 50 cents as a plate block. Look on ebay, the Scott # is1068, type that # in the search box and I'm sure you'll find AT LEAST one for sale. You can probably look in "buy it now" and find one for quick purchase. With a little searching you can probably find a really well centered one for the same price as these have not yet really been graded heavily but probably will be in coming years.

E-Bay listing them around 40 cents each, 65 cents for block of 4 and a sheet for $10.

Thought about doing something framed with the State Quarter, 3 cent stamp, an FDC and maybe an "after the fall" picture.

There's a stamp dealer 2 blocks from my kid's school. Maybe stop in before I pick her up.

    Thanks!
