Remember these Chuck Norris Facts
1. When Chuck Norris does a pushup, he isn't lifting himself up, he's pushing the Earth down
2. According to Einstein's theory of relativity, Chuck Norris can actually roundhouse kick you yesterday
3. There are no such things as lesbians, just women who have not yet met Chuck Norris

Bonds is a first class jerk, but even he wouldn't say "F*** Aaron", would he?

WTF-TV... think about what it stands for. And if you're still not certain, think about how many legitimate news operations have ever made reference to anyone whipping out a ruler to measure themselves.
Cute spoof though.
<< <i>Disclaimer
Wow! You deserve a prize, because you are a SUPER NAVIGATOR! You followed two links and found our hidden, ultra-not-so-secret disclaimer page!
It really shouldn't have been too hard, seeing as how we've used this exact same web template to pull off an earlier prank. Let's see if THIS one gets us on the ticker bar on MSNBC and the Entertainment feed on ABCNews.
And if it does... Jesus. Do you guys ever learn?
You'd think that spanking your ethicless little behinds three times now would have done it. But NOOOOOOOOOOOOO. You'll just copy and "report" any old crap you pick up on the net. Break your neck to be first, make sure everyone hears the story with YOUR name on it.
Dorks.
And if it doesn't work this time, GOOD. Believe it or not, internet-stigmatized Farkers and Diggers and Boingers and other folk, this is precisely what we want. We've infiltrated the major media MANY times since our first prank in 2004 - a few of which you've heard about, many of which you have NOT - but all of which have been in and on major news networks.
Little pranks such as these are what we call our "carpet pulls" -
they're set-ups that let us know exactly what stories are being flat-out stolen and reported as true news and where the theft is starting.
And if this story doesn't break out, it means we're doing our jobs
right. Journalists are getting less sloppy. Sources are starting to be checked. And that can't help but benefit us ALL.
But if it DOES make it... Will we be proud of ourselves? No. Not even a little. This isn't some sort of short-train to stardom we're trying to board here. This is what some of the less-calloused of you out there would call "fighting for the greater good." We're just doing what we can - as little as it may be - to attempt to reintroduce the practice of researching a story before it is reported as news. We do not consider it a victory to have a fake news item reported in legitmiate news sources. We will consider ourselves victorious when we begin seeing our stories (and other fake news stories posted on link propigation sites) bypassed because they failed a simple verification test. We will hold our heads high knowing that we and others like us have finally succeeded in introducing a bit of accountibility in the media. Why is this our job? Well... it's not just our job. It's EVERYONE's job. Everyone should demand accountability and integrity in the news reported to us, the general public.
The one thing we ask - please keep this disclaimer link and text out of the comments of Fark and Digg and others... At least for a little while. Talk about it amongst yourselves, but hold off on "blowing the whistle" on us... Let's see if this thing explodes the way we think it will.

<< <i>I saw Matt Drudge linked to this story. And since so much of the popular media outlets look to him, it would not surprise me if this went even further into the mainstream. >>
Drudge never checks his facts...he's a mindless loon.
He recently talked about Al Gore supposedly taking 5 SUVs to go 500 yards to an environmental conference, when, in fact, he had walked.
It will be hillarious to see this blow up in Drudge's face.
