If a coin is BB'd for cleaning it is authenic.
They said if it was "not real" it would be BB'd for that instead.

If it's not in writing, it didn't happen.
Sounds like you work as a Medicare auditor!
<< <i>I'm sure we can absolutely rely on the word of the random CS person with whom you spoke. Afterall, they've never been incorrect in the past.

That's not what he's saying, it's what the random CS person said. He's just the messenger.

<< <i>So what you're saying Smitty is that you believe my 1878-CC Trade Dollar which PCGS returned in a BB as having been cleaned, with a notation on the label of the weight(within specified tolerance), is genuine. Even though ANACS examined it subsequently and designated the coin a counterfeit. So how much do you want to pay for my cleaned genuine EF-45 1878-CC Trade Dollar? How about, let's say oh about bid minus $500 for the cleaned surfaces. I'll be happy to take your Grand for it. >>
Got a pic?
