The Coin World Series is getting a little more fun now...

Bullion isn't the play anymore, it's COINS! That's what I think PCGS intended it to be all along. It's a thinking man's game now. image

Oh boy! It's gonna get fun now. image

Sure. People who do poorly always blame bad luck and those who do well always credit great skill. image

Not doing so well, huh claddy?

I have made every penny in 20th century gold. Saints, $10/5 Indians. there's no luck there. image

Larry...I'm not happy. 3rd place is a LOSER. I want first place. How about this: I own the POP-1 1914-S MS65 $10 Indian. I paid 75K...it sells for 250K, and it gets bumped to 125K! image

Someone there owes me 125K of play money. image

As soon as the next 14s sells for 250k,the price will go up a bunch more.
one auction isn't enough information to raise the price guide to 250k.

If there is a track record..maybe 2-3 auctions, then you will make your 125k image

Load up on MS65 Saints at $1350-$1400 or whatever PCGS says they are worth. They'll be 20-30% higher before the year is out.
Just remember to sell them by the end of the move. Russ is probably already doing this. Trying to figure out which single date in a set might get a 50-100% bump is borderline insanity. The Saints are nearly are sure deal since they go up and then down. A perfect scenario for a trading account.

Not doing so well in the world series but my luck should improve. image

Otherwise I'm mostly doing just fine and I'm sure it's because of careful planning and brilliant execution. image

The secret to this game is to see GREEN every day,not wait months before a coin goes up...

If you watch auction results as they happen, you have a great advantage..

Wait until the next 1914-S MS65 sells?? There's ONE!! You won't see that coin for 10 years!

No...you have to see what's in the auctions as soon as they are listed. If you think you can get a big coin as the auction is running , you haven't tried this. Some coins coming up in auction are bought out 2 months in advance. I know..I do it. I have owned coins that are coming in the ANA since June. You have to be way ahead of the pack here.

Just using that 14s as an example image

If pcgs sees a trend..2-3 auctions in a row where a certain coin is selling alot higher than their value,it will go up to the max amount...but a single auction doesn't always do it..same thing has happened to me,
