Went to a coin show today. Now, I have these two dates already, in similar condition. They also are not particularly difficult to locate. But the prices were so outlandishly low, I bought them anyway. In the end, money I could have saved for the tougher, more elusive dates later on, I "squandered" today. Ever do the same thing?

P.S. Take a shot at the respective grades, if you like.

MS64 for the 1915. However, that's a fantastic strike on the 1929 - easily MS65 with a shot at MS66.

squandered ?????....OMG yes....and I have to say way, way, wayyyyy too much. Just last week, a friend had pointed out that I could have bought a this blazing, WOW coin I saw if I didn't ebay silly stuff so often. I try to justify if it by calling it my learning curve(yeah riiight). At least your getting great prices.

Dealers always need really premium coins--at some point you might use the 1929 for leverage in a deal for a date you need. That is a super strike and nice coin--

i belong to that club too...i keep on trying to save for a couple 28' peace dollars but see these all the semi keys at damn near melt and can't stop but at least i've scored my 34-s and tucked-um in my dungeon...but yes all the time i'm guility too.....oh my beginners guess on grades on buff's i've yet to get into....ummmm you got some nice ones 67ish on both i'd say....;-)
