what kind of defect/error is this on 2005 lincoln?

i was looking through some lincolns and found this. it appears to have scratches running underneath lincoln and the strike did not take all the way. underneath his ear and even inside his ear it appears flat with scratches. the scratches also appear in front and in back of his neck. anybody know what this would be? a scratched planchet and then poor strike? thanksimageimageimageimage

Those pics are too big and too fuzzy to really see, but I think they are die polish lines. image

see the area under his ear that is kind of boomerang shaped? no beard detail and has the same scratches as found in front and in back of his neck, kind of like if the planchet was scuffed or something. just never saw anything like it before...

Looks like the sheet stock from which the planchet was stamped was just a little too thin.

Accidental die abrasion. These "die scrapes" are probably caused by a feed finger scraping across the die face.

Here is another example coinman of damage from the feed finger like errormaven said.
