? about 1982 Topps blackless

Does anyone have any info on these cards? Are they worth anything if graded?

There are 396 of them. They come from the A, B and C sheet runs, maybe caused by the black ink running dry. The A sheet cards seem more plentiful than the B or C cards. For awhile it was said the C sheets were by far the rarest, but that may be less clear now. The C sheet cards seem to have ended up in Michigan while the A and B sheet cards seem to have turned up in NY, many in packs.
If you want to know a lot about them contact zenithium through e-bay. He has had some for sale recently. He knows more about them than anyone I know and is generous with his knowledge. But, his view of their value though may be ahead of it's time.

He and another seller in NY and two in Michigan were instrumental in helping me build my set. The value of the star cars is fairly strong because of how scarce they are. But the commons seem to languish. I know one other person who has a set and two others who were fairly close, but unless someone was collecting Yankees or Cardinals or some other team, demand for the commons has not been strong. The scarcity seems to discourage set builders from getting started on them

I have a couple spare "C" sheet commons left still, 2 are Tigers which are more difficult.

I had a large grouping of them that I sold off in pieces about a year ago...

I don't think grading them is going to make them any more valuable unless you have it in a 10 holder, and the only ones I've come across were not centered well enough to be 10's.
