I won this at auction unattributed.
Not exactly a cherrypick...more like getting bonked on the head while standing under the tree
On the reverse you can also see the clashed impression of Bens upper lip a bit SW of the eagle.

<< <i>What exactly is a Bugs Bunny? >>
Bugs bunny is a clashed die variety that occurs with Franklins. It makes his teeth look like he needs braces. That pic is too close up to tell what it is though.
Hell, I don't need to exercise.....I get enough just pushing my luck.
I am Looking to Buy California Tokens too.
<< <i>Very nice pickup!!!! How severe is the clash on the rev? >>
You can see a nice image of bens lip on the reverse, and mucho die polishing in the area.
Incidentally, I came across a 1959-P with a weak bugs-bunny clash over the weekend... not sure if that date has ever been reported with "BB".

In addition to the famous '55 Bugs, I've heard of a fair amount of '56s with a similar clash. Never a '51 though. Congrats!!
My icon IS my coin. It is a gem 1949 FBL Franklin.
<< <i>hmmmm, i dont notice anything...what am i looking for? >>
Look at Bens upper lip. It looks like he has "buck teeth" like Bugs Bunny.
The name is LEE!
but it can hqppen with any Franklin?
