I remember opening some 1988 Donruss packs back when they were released which had cards with heavy paper wrinkles on them. It depends on the issue. If it's a paper wrinkle, it could be factory induced. If it looks like the card was folded or bent, then I would question that.

I guess he has some sort of monster hoard of unopened material and is not pricing naything. You need to send him a list, and what you'll pay and he'll find/think about selling it
