I bought them a few months ago from the bay, how could cards in the middle of the pack get creased?

Should I dust for fingerprints?? Maybe them were x-mas cello packs

Cards do NOT get creased that come from wax packs!
    Enjoy your collection!

Unopened packs can have creased cards, but usually they are paper/surface creases due to defects in the card stock before printing. Deep creases caused by the card stock being bent should be very rare in legit packs.

I busted some 89 Donruss rack packs from BBCE that had a few instances of heavily creased cards in the middle of the stack. Same thing with some 84 Topps rack. I figured it was just the machine that fills the packs screwing up.

Yes, cards can come from packs creased and or with wrinkles. Like it was mentioned the packing process can cause it.

In my day I have opened many cases and once in a while you get a run like that.

Sorry that happened to you Ted.

    Good for you.

I remember opening some 1988 Donruss packs back when they were released which had cards with heavy paper wrinkles on them. It depends on the issue. If it's a paper wrinkle, it could be factory induced. If it looks like the card was folded or bent, then I would question that.

Just to clarify it does seem like the card stock is good, but it there is a paper wrinkle as winpitch mentioned. I got 3 more cellos and the centering was good. After I clean up from the flood (all raw cards in collection a total loss) maybe I'll try to crack another.

I guess he has some sort of monster hoard of unopened material and is not pricing naything. You need to send him a list, and what you'll pay and he'll find/think about selling it
