Great moment in MLB history

I did not know about this before today. I may now look for some Rick Monday cards to collect. God Bless America!

edited: I could not get the link to work, so the only way I know to do this is copy & paste to your internet browser.

  • I heard about this incident on the anniversary of it. April 25th. For those that don't know and don't want to copy and paste the link, a father and son jumped onto the field at Dodger stadium and decided to burn an American flag in protest to something. Monday swooped in from his outfield spot and grabbed the flag before it was set ablaze. He still has the flag.
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

Forget blocking him; find out where he lives and go punch him in the nuts. --WalterSobchak 9/12/12

    Link

    Fixed link.

edit: with the linking, it always wants to put a http:// in front of the mms://.

I'll try to find an alternate source for the video.
  • Axtell,

I tried that and link doesn't work.

  • Rick Monday saved the flag 30 years ago

I was able to cut and paste his link and watched it.

Wierd, I couldn't find an alternate source of that video anywhere.

And I wish that CU forums wouldn't automatically stick that http:// in front, even after you edit it.

    It's definitely worth checking out.
