No, I drive a mini because they are a fun car and gets great gas mileage, and with gas exceeding $3 (and on its way to $4 a gallon) it seems to be an even better investment.
Small hands, hardly. I can palm a basketball fully inflated...I bet you can't do that, princess.

Axtell tries to knock people who have decent money by ridiculing what they drive Ax, why don't you just come out and tell us all that you are a poor slob working at the corner mini mart to help pay for that mini vehicle and one or two football cards here and there. Hey nothing wrong with being lower class but don't take cheap shots at the guys who are more fortunate. Thats

Axtell is currently just stocking shelves but he's hoping in a few years to become the assistant to the assistant night manager and perhaps get a nickel an hour raise.
hah you guys are so funny! You know nothing about me yet you like to make baseless assumptions.
Look, if it makes you feel good about yourself by getting yourselves into massive debt buying cars out of your price range, go ahead. You're the ones that people laugh behind your back that you're 'compensating' for certain shortcomings.

No debt here , sorry, and we DO know ALOT about you. Everything is obvious. How are those California scratch off lottery sales anyway?
<< <i> Grime MUD was a text based game that was around and I was playing likely long before you discovered the internet. >>
Wrong again. You are so easy.
Research AUTODIN. A close relative helped test and operate this system. In fact he was schooled in data processing in the early 50s and is still in the business. Worked with people like Admiral Grace Hopper, check her out too.
I was familiar with the basics of code and handling boards when you were still a sperm. Try building your own home entertainment components instead of going to Best Buy.
Some would say you still are a small organism with a tail.
Hmmm, again SORRY Ax. The field of work that I am in pays for every cent of my gas. On weekends too. Its a really sweet benefit these days I realize how fortunate I am and feel so bad for those who are being so effected by outrageous gas prices. But not you Ax! Keep that mo-ped humming!

Actually if you must know, I did piece together my home theater system instead of buying it at best buy. Please tell me where best buy offers a yamaha RXV2600 and Sonance in wall speakers and NHT subwoofer.
As far as computers go, I can send you my invoices for newegg.com if you'd like to see the computer system I just put together, but then, I am sure by now, you realize I am quite able to build both types of systems.

As long as we're all whipping them and measuring them, I built a P3 computer into an old Nintendo a few years ago, using the original power/reset buttons, and even got the keyboard and mouse to plug into the original controller ports - it was on collegehumor.com

You are far too young.
The key word is build, not put components together.
Start with an empty box, then build with your Yamaha.
Obviously you look at the pictures rather than reading the directions.

Now why in the hell would I want to do that? It's not a matter of ability, it's a matter of asking 'why?'
Are you one of these dorks who thinks he can build better equipment than billion dollar corporations? Let me guess: you put together your own speakers too and say 'they sound better!' I used to deal with people like you when I worked selling home theater gear. You'd come in, look at the price of a high end receiver and/or speakers, then start yapping about this magazine you have that gives you drawings of speakers that will blow away the $5000 ones I have on the shelf. Then walk out and be back a month later, bragging about how great they sound, showing me pictures and they look like a lab experiment gone awry.
Please.
Why would I want to devote my time to building an integrated receiver when I can drop $1500 on a yamaha that will do everything I want it to do, including running 3 different zones of audio simultaneously, and all I had to do was plug it in?
Really, in this day and age, where manufacturers are pushing their gear further and further, what could possibly be the draw to assembling your own receiver?
I was responding to your "before you knew about the internet" comment.
At one time it was economically wise to build your own equipment. I would have used the phrase "stereo components" but didn't want to confuse you.
I now buy individual components. I prefer Harmon Kardon when buying receivers. They give excellent performance at a good price.
Once again we have proven that in your comments you insist on building yourself up and then are quickly found to be mistaken.
Perhaps it would be wise for you to remember that you do not know those you are insulting. In trying to say that you knew about the internet long before me you hastily stuck your foot in your mouth.

I wouldn't know. Never worked anywhere that sold them.
Though I am sure you play, desperately trying to afford the gas payment on that overpriced POS you drive!
