paypal charges you about $3 to receive an electronic transfer of money. Also for $3 the post office delivers your coin all the way accross the country, right to the buyer's doorstep!

Shhh....don't give them ideas
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
Yes, but, I get the poster's drift. Sort of like comparparing a gallon of water to a gallon of gas.
Gallon of h2o= tap water in a plastic bottle
Gas= has to travel a long way, be refined, dangerous to store and transport.
Gas might be a deal at 3 bucks... They been paying that in Europe forever. And they sell that designer water here for how much in those little bottles?
Maybe a cup of coffee (with refills) that used to cost a quarter and now costs 4 bucks vs gas that used to cost 35 cents at the same time (1973 or so) and 3 buck gas is a better analogy?
Heh, maybe not... I take paypal... no complaints about service vs cost
