What are the odds these Allan & Ginters are real?

  • Hard to say without better pics or info on seller ect.. I have read that they are easily made though. I know if I had them I would provide better pics if I intended on selling them as they are not layed out. From what I see only 2 cards have rounded corners. Hmmm Either a bunch of junk or a goldmine.

    Fakes. Real Allen & Ginters rarely lose their "whiteness". The ones in the picture look like reprints that have been tea-bagged.

    The Waddell in the background is definitely a fake, and I agree with Wondo about the whiteness of A & G's- even my low grade ones haven't yellowed.

    The only authentic cards in those pics are a couple of lower grade British tobacco cards, no doubt mixed in to give the collection some kind of visual credibility.
