Do any of you have the coins picked out for your set, but dont yet own them?

Most of you know that I am trying to put together a gem+ five coin seated denomination set for the year 1872.
I have two coins in the half dime and dime. I am still missing the quarter, half dollar and dollar. I have tracked
down the three coins (quarter, half, and dollar) that I eventually want to add to the set. Two are owned by
board members, the third I had to dig a lot deeper but know where it is and the owner knows that I am inter-
ested. Here is the set as I dream it to be when completed.

I sold it a few years ago to a collector and I'm in the process of trying to get it back.
It's not going very well
The odd thing is he doesn't even collect this series and it is totally different from his collecting interests.
Hopefully I will be successful in re-acquiring it. I love the coin and should have never sold it in the first place.
I have two others picked out. One of which I know where it is and the other I don't.
I have my eye on a coin that will be more than I will want to spend, but that is this game we play. If we settled for coins that we could easily get, and easily pay for we would soon tire of this and move on to something else.
Keep the thrill of the hunt and the game stays fun.
After you do complete this dream set John, begin a new challenge---and don't forget that you could always toss a few of those monsters in this direction when you do get tired of them
That is one superclean looking obverse on that dime!!!
Sweet luster!!!
(the others are way nice too, but that dime really sticks out!)
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
