Would like your thoughts on this Proof Lincoln...

Thinking about sending it in to cross....it's in an NCG slab now and is not designated as a cameo.......do you think if I crack it out and submit it, it will get the cameo designation????

Pics are too small to tell. Look at the portrait and see if there is texture to the frost like on a 50's proof, along with the entire bust being covered.

My first impression is that it's a cameo and as I recall cameos are relatively common on the '38 compared to the other proofs minted around this time ('36-'42).

Based on the pics I do not think it will grade cam at PCGS, they are grading stupid right now on most stuff, but especially proof cameo stuff. I just send in a solid no question 42 in NGC 65RD cameo (based on your pics, much stronger than yours) and it did not cross and it was not because of the 65.
