Crack-Crack-Crack

Okay, I have been collecting for a long, long time. Until now, I have never done a crack out. Over the past couple of years I had purchased 6 or 7 coins in ANACS and NGC holders that I thought might be decent candidates for upgrades, or at worst a lateral into another holder.
The first couple were a little nerve wracking.
I used tile nippers to nip all four corners off the slab, then used a flat screwdriver to pop the two covers apart. Then a twist of the insert drops the coin onto a very soft towel. Anyway, now I have some greyside cents to submit "raw".
The first couple were a little nerve wracking.

High value coins go to PCGS. The thought of a coin worth thousands sitting in a mylar flip covered by a PVC flip doesn't sit well with me, no matter how well they grade.
