For a 1970 Small Date proof set.
In the picture it's hard to tell, so I ask the seller for a better photo. They tell me they KNOW it's a small date because of this... Do you think it's a SD or LD?

It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

From the Ebay pics, it looks like an obvious LD.

Quote from the seller
<< <i>The photo I am sending you comes from an ad in the Littleton Coin Company catalog. Littleton uses a team of Numismatists with over 100 years of experience between them in grading & identifying coins. The phone number of Littleton Coin Company is 1-800-645-3122, you can call & request a free catalog, it is a great source of information & coins. I am unfamiliar with the person who`s web site you sent me but in all that I have read & all the coin collectors & dealers in my area I have spoken with, the top of the numbers in the date is irrelevant to determining if it is a small or large date coin. It is the tail of the 7 that determines whether or not the coin is a small or large date. >>
This was the web site I forwared to them...
