Theory about Ebay auctions being pulled.

I have a theory about Ebay auctions being pulled. I started the "I AM TICKED!!!!!" thread. I had my 1954 Topps Complete Set pulled. Come to find out, it was because the Aaron RC was not authenticated. I have noticed that more and more people have had auctions pulled as well. I know of on that had a Gretzky RC pulled because it was not authenticated.

Could the grading companys be reporting these auctions because they want more business? Just a thought.

I doubt it. there seems to be no pattern to what ebay does. I've heard of auctions being pulled due to sellers accepting cash. (555) accepts cash per their listings and their listings do not get pulled. some days ebay may be fully staffed and have people to do crap like that and other days maybe they don't have the time for it.

eBay's auction patrol is a crap shoot at best.
  • My buddy had a hockey card pulled as ebay said it was fake. How could they tell even if it was from his small pic. Crazy.

  • Maybe auctions need to have a guaranteed authentic tag to them to prevent the items from being pulled?
