Left my first Negative Feedback in 4 years...might want to block this bidder...UPDATED 5/25

segojasegoja Posts: 6,136 ✭✭✭✭
Buyer buys a $50 item on April 16. Sends an e-mail 1 day later saying she will pay with check or MO. Wait 2 weeks. Send numerous e-mails. nothing.

File non-paying bidder dispute after 3 weeks. She says her account was hi-jacked, yet she has sold coins virtually everyday since April 16. Guess her e-mail and phone were hi-jacked as well.

OK...I'll give her that.

Upon filing the non-paying bidder dispute, e-bay finds her account was NOT hi-jacked. She then agress to pay (all the while never communicating any of this to me...only to E-Bay). I call her to arrange payment options. She hangs up. Call 4-5 times over the next few days and leave 3 phones numbers and e-mail address to call....nothing.

OK I'm done. Negative left.

Might think about blocking this bidder as well.

  • I had thought that if you filed an Non-Paying dipute with Ebay that even if she did leave neg. feedback it won't count against you.

Check out one of her "customers". This person looks block-worthy as well.
  • segojasegoja Posts: 6,136 ✭✭✭✭
The buyer did respond but with bogus answers and no follow-up!

I hope you guys are correct, but in any case, It'll be clear when a potential buyer reads the detail.

  • I believe the time limit to leave feed-back of any type is 90 days !

Saw that and already blocked the turd. What I'm wondering, though, is why they have not been booted.

No. Single feedback entries (with the item number) may be left many months after that.

Because eBay doesn' t have the time, resources, or inclination to investigate all problem users, just the ones that won't provide enough private information.

    James,

Why do you hate deadbeats so much?

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Your seller sounds like an utter idiot. Thanks for the heads up.

You know, come to think of it, I’m going to proactive for a change and block everyone on this thread. Better safe than sorry.

Do you know for sure that this is still true? I know eBay said that they were going to do away with that possibility.

Wow, I don't sell much but my blocked list is getting nice and long thanks to this forum. Thanks for the heads up about another deadbeat.

Yes, I just now double checked.
Log in and go to My eBay.
Under Account (on the left side) go to 'feedback'.
In feedback click 'Go To Feedback Forum'.
    Once there click Leave Feedback.

On the top of that page will be single transaction form (somewhat at the top, on the right). All you need is the transaction number and the eBay'ers name you want to leave feedback for and you're good to go.

This form may be used for many months after the 90 time typical time period. (FYI: Even then the 90 days is not set in stone and varies.)

There may be an easier and quicker way to get where I was going but the above is the method I've used with success.

The wench just left me retailitory negative feedback. Noticed she just had another non-pay negative right after mine.

Might want to block this buyer:

    just..coins

I filed a non-paying bidder and won. Seems like E-Bay should not allow negative feedback from non-paying bidders. I e-mailed them and asked why? No response.
