Fun with a Morgan.. One hard boiled egg, Vinegar, onion, and a tupperware container.

It's interesting to do your own experiments so you know what to watch out for...

PS... This coin will never be sold... For those ready to accuse me of being a coin Dr...

Did you use the H-B egg and vinegar to spruce up the coin, or did you eat the egg and drink the vinegar to fart on the coin?

Interesting. It is fun and educational to experiment like this. I've only done this with pocket change myself. I don't think I could bring myself do do it to a Morgan or any collector coins. I thought about buying some silver rounds though, just to see if I get the same results with silver as I have with the pocket change. Note that the same colors you got are represented on the coin below, just the placement of them is controlled differently.

Remember the experiment when you were a kid--- If you soak a hard boiled egg in vinegar for a few days it turns into a rubbery ball that you can bounce???
Some coins are just plain "Interesting"

The pattern isn't pretty, but the colors are nice.

Ummm...it involved chemicals, heat, cardboard and trial and error. Not sure if I could do it again and get the same results.
